Permit Issued

Faint Expectations hasn’t been hijacked (knock on wood). I’ve decided to alter my template, but only by a little bit. The basic two-column Minima format was becoming overused, so I’ve decided to go with a three-column template from Pam Blackstone that was simply tweaked from Douglas Bowman’s original design.

I was torn between the three-column look and a one-column look featuring a tie-dyed background, sparkles, and a photo of Paris Hilton in the bottom right corner.

Well even if the "stars are blind," I'll still read your blog. Sparkles, or no sparkles.

By the way, your little icon thingy isn't quite loading for me. Are you in the process of changing your appearance yet again?

No. It should be back up by now. I have the image on Flickr and their site wasn’t working properly on some blogs. I’m not sure what was going on.

I’ll probably keep this image for awhile. He’s my great-great-uncle and I’d feel guilty if I got rid of a family member—except for my great-aunt Arabelle. No one liked her.
